Finally, the time has come to post my first assignment! I was amazed to see how easy it was to make those contact sheets from bridge to Photoshop. That's something I'll never forget because of it's usefulness.

It was a little weird not being able to delete photos. I kept thinking to myself, "Ok! Make sure this is something you *really* want to take a picture of, because you have to keep it!" At first it was hard to take pictures, because I wasn't sure if I would like the picture I took. Then I just figured, what the heck, I don't care if they are all blurry or look terrible. I'm doing the assignment and this is how it's going to turn out.

So, below I will be posting my contact sheets first, and then my two images I picked. It was my nieces 2nd birthday party, so I took a bunch of pictures that day, including some underwater pictures that aren't included in that set.

(I'm putting a couple of the best underwater shots here anyway by themselves, though, just because I think they are cool. :D)

My Final Two Photo Picks:

Above is my niece, who just turned two. She made this really funny looking face, the one in the picture. I've never seen her bite her lip or whatever it is that she's doing here. Still, it looks adorable in my opinion.

I was walking by the gifts right before she opened them, and I noticed how prettily this one was wrapped, and how cute that ribbon looked on it. I just had to get a shot of it, and lucky for me I did. My sister loves this photo, and already used it on her blog as well as ordered a print of it for scrap booking purposes.

First Post

About to edit this post with the pictures...well, in a day or 2...or 3. Either way, I can't help but think of this assignment and my favorite show, 24. I'm really looking forward to doing this! Even with my crummy camera, I'm confident I can get some truly unique shots.
